We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our team. This individual will have a proven track record of creating high-quality, functional websites and digital experiences. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients. While this position is remote, we are seeking Canadian citizens to fill the role.
The Role
Primary Responsibilities
Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma, with a strong focus on user experience and brand alignment.
Develop responsive, functional websites using Webflow, adhering to best practices for performance and accessibility.
Collaborate directly with clients via email and video calls to gather feedback, clarify project requirements, and present progress updates.
Create visually compelling social media content tailored to various platforms.
Integrate third-party tools (e.g., CRMs, marketing automation, and analytics platforms) to enhance website functionality and client workflows.
Technical Requirements
Proficiency in Figma, with a portfolio showcasing past work.
Advanced knowledge of Webflow, including CMS integration, animations, and customizations.
Experience with SEO optimization and implementing Google tools (e.g., Analytics, Tag Manager).
Familiarity with web technologies, including HTML and CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript is an asset.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Zapier or Make.
Preferred Experience
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, with the ability to design intuitive, results-driven interfaces.
Experience working with other website builders like Shopify or Wix.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance).
Ability to conduct QA testing to ensure design consistency and functionality across devices and browsers.
Skills in logo design and brand asset creation are a plus.
